Our hearts are forever broken by the sudden passing of our beloved Mangobird, our wonderful companion for the past 15 years. The silence in our house is deafening. We will always miss her friendly chatter, her funny sound effects, and most of all that warm “hello” in the adorable young woman’s voice she picked up a few years ago. Her corner of the house is eerily quiet now, echoing the emptiness in our hearts.

We found Astro on facebook. He was 15 months, 57 lbs, skinny, and untrained. We got him healthy and happy, and to learn to tolerate living with a precocious Myanah bird. Astro is quite the character – very loving and full of fun. He’s the perfect companion for our happy critter family. We adore him and are so fortunate to have him in our lives.

Sadly Lucky left us two days after Thanksgiving 2021. He brought so much joy to our family and we miss him every day. #bestdogever Bandit also passed away unexpectedly in March of 2022. She was 18 years old and an important member of our house-old too.

A few years ago, Mom heard an odd sound coming from our swimming pool.  She went to the windows to look and noticed that there were ripples in the pool.  She promptly went outside to see what it was, and discovered a wild Mynah frantically trying to avoid drowning.  She reached in and grabbed the poor soaked bird, and set him/her on the deck.  She called me to come out and as I opened the
